In Memory of Allen W. Boucher
Allen William Boucher, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born March 2, 1939, in Somerset, WI to Arthur and Evelyn (Moe) Boucher, and also helped raised by Aunt Ruth P. Allen was confirmed in 1955, at Timberland Lutheran Church. He was married on December 4, 1967, to Georgina Bergeron and they shared 56 years together.
After graduating high school, Allen started working for 3M in Cumberland and retired after 37 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his wood shop, and relaxing in his swing chair by the pond. Allen could build anything and fix anything; but as he faced end of life health issues he knew he needed God’s help. He put his trust in Jesus and found peace.
He is survived by wife: Georgina Boucher; children: Paul Boucher, Linda (Dan) Fredrickson, and Mike Boucher; grandchildren: Logan and Chase Boucher, and Tanner and Tyler Fredrickson; sisters: Janet (Jim) Crotteau, and Elaine (Donald) Knutson; many nieces and nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Evelyn Boucher, and Aunt Ruth P; and sister, Arlene Schumaker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Timberland Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Timberland Cemetery. Pallbearers are Logan Boucher, Chase Boucher, Tanner Fredrickson, Tyler Fredrickson, Dan Fredrickson, and Randy Knutson. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30.
