There is still time to add the finishing touches to your lawn and gardens because the Yellow River Gardens will be open for a little while longer.

There are still gifts, fountains, shrubs, indoor and outdoor decor, both fruit and shade trees and very large statue items that owner Linda Berger calls the Big Boys.

Succulents, those thick-leaved beauties for indoors and out, are easy to maintain and are beautiful when grouped in a earthy pot. They also make an unusual Christmas gift to the plant person on your list.

Mums are going fast, so grab a couple for your fall planting and they will return the favor year after year.
The greenhouse is buzzing with lots of plans for next year's growing season. An additional greenhouse has been added, and soon some new buildings. They are continuing to grow for you.

Owners, Jim and Linda would like to thank everyone for a most excellent season by extending their 20 percent off sale on absolutely everything until they close for the season. They would also remind you that there is still time to pick up those gift certificates.

Their hours have changed and are now, Thursday and Friday from 9a-1:30p Saturday 9a- 5p and closed on Sunday. They Yellow River Greenhouse is located on highway 70, two miles east of Spooner.
