The “buzz” is high with the anticipation of the WITC Foundation Fall Art Fair. This dazzling event will feature 17 local and regional artists exhibiting and selling their work. There will be a variety of one of a kind pieces of artwork for sale to include pottery, jewelry, woodworking, paintings, weaving, leatherwork, and much more.
Artists submitted images of their work in ordered to be juried into the Art Fair. Art work was based on:
- Execution of design, technique, craftsmanship, creative use of material, and aesthetic qualities.
- Quality of artistic composition and overall design.
- Technical skill, creativity and medium.
- Overall impression of the art.
The event will also host a silent auction. Artists will donate a piece of their work which will be auctioned off the day of the event.
Proceeds from this event will support WITC-Rice Lake scholarships and emergency funds for students. The average student drops out of college for less than $400. These funds are important to assist our students to succeed and realize their educational dreams.
This is a great place to start your holiday shopping. Patrons will find an outstanding selection of fine art and craft to browse and purchase as they walk among the artisan displays.
