Announcement

I want you all to know how much I appreciate being the State Representative for District 73 in Northwestern Wisconsin. This is the absolute honor of my lifetime.

People ask me quite frequently how it's going and how I'm able to take on all of this responsibility and my answer was and is "BALANCE." I have a lot of plates spinning at all times with two young children and maintaining my career (thanks to my incredible boss for his flexibility and understanding of the importance of this position.)

I am here to listen to your concerns and be a voice for you in Madison- even when I do it from my desk in Superior, Wisconsin. A lot of thanks goes to my husband, Nathan, for fulfilling all the roles of our household while I am traveling and working. From two full-time jobs, wrestling, dance, girl scouts, and normal life occurrences, I could never do it without him!

We just finished Reba's 6th birthday party, I ironed on patches for Reba's Girl Scouts vest, and now I am at my computer preparing for a press conference at 10 am tomorrow. It's a wild, wild ride and this is a typical day. There is always something happening that is important and impactful, and I make sure to keep you all in-the-know because it's important that you are aware of what your state representatives are doing all the time, not just in an election year.

We don't yet know what the district will look like, but I want it to be crystal clear that I have no intention of leaving this position. I am elated to be able to represent my community in the capitol! It may be unusual to make any decisions this early on, but I think it's important to let you all know that I am dedicated to you and I am dedicated to the needs of Northwestern Wisconsin.

I am excited to announce I am officially running for Assembly for District 73 in 2024! We accomplished a lot of things in this cycle from the largest increases in shared revenue in history to holding people accountable for Fentanyl deaths. There is nothing more valuable in life than your time, and I have sacrificed a lot of my time with my husband and my children to this position, but I truly believe the work we are doing is changing and potentially saving the lives of people throughout the state, and so, the work continues.

We're just getting started.

Thank you all for your unwavering support.
