WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST THURSDAY. * LOCATIONS... THE NORTH SHORE... CENTRAL... AND EASTERN MINNESOTA... AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN INCLUDING THE CITIES OF TWO HARBORS... SILVER BAY... GRAND MARIAS... PINE RIVER... BRAINERD... HILL CITY... AITKIN... DULUTH... PINE CITY... HINCKLEY... SUPERIOR... WASHBURN... BAYFIELD... ASHLAND... HURLEY... GRANTSBURG... SPOONER... HAYWARD... PARK FALLS... AND PHILLIPS. * TIMING... THIS EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. * WIND CHILL VALUES... AS LOW AS 33 BELOW. * WINDS... WEST 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH. * IMPACTS... DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS CAN PRODUCE FROSTBITE ON EXPOSED SKIN IN AS LITTLE AS 30 MINUTES. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
