Tom is the current Outagamie County Executive and is a democratic candidate running for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Wisconsin. Tom is running against Republican incumbent Ron Johnson and is among several other democrats that are competing in a primary to be on the November ballot. Before becoming County Executive -- a role he has held since 2011 -- Tom served in the State Assembly, becoming Majority Leader in his final term.
