Washburn County IDA’s Revolving Loan Fund Now Administered By NWRPC

The Washburn County Industrial Development Agency (WCIDA) Business Revolving Loan Fund Program (formally administered through Washburn County Economic Development Agency) is now being administered through Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NWRPC). The business loan fund has over one-million dollars available to assist eligible Washburn County businesses.

A revolving loan fund (RLF) is a pool of capital from which loans are made to provide gap financing, primarily to small and mid-sized businesses. RLFs provide critical financing when credit access may be limited and are used to fill the breach between the amount a borrower can obtain in the private market and the amount needed to start or sustain a business.
