POLK COUNTY -- On September 17, 2021, DrydenWire published a press release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office regarding an 11-hour standoff with a suspect that ultimately led to the suspect apparently taking his own life.
Today, September 20, 2021, the Polk County Sheriff's Office has issued the following update.

The person in the standoff was 39 yr old Eric Keesen from Rice Lake WI. He was wanted for Felony Stalking out of Barron County and Child Enticement out of Washburn County.
