WASHBURN COUNTY — A Hayward, WI, man with four prior OWI convictions is facing a fifth-offense OWI after allegedly driving off the roadway and striking multiple signs before stopping at a Trego, WI, bar.
Raymond Larson (65) allegedly admitted to drinking six vodka drinks before driving, with a subsequent blood test showing a 0.266 BAC. Larson is also facing a separate fifth-offense OWI case in Sawyer County. His passenger, Corinne Paape (66) of Hayward, WI, was arrested and charged after authorities allegedly found marijuana in her purse. Paape is also facing a separate felony marijuana related charge in Sawyer County.
