RUSK COUNTY (DrydenWire) – A routine traffic stop in Rusk County led to the discovery of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, ultimately uncovering a suspected drug trafficking operation.

On the evening of March 13, 2025, a deputy pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation, only to find evidence of drug activity. This led authorities to execute a search warrant at a residence in Ladysmith, where they uncovered a significant amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and large sums of cash.

Multiple individuals were taken into custody and are now facing felony drug charges.
