Mark Johnson of Superior is the lucky player who won $1 million from the Saturday, June 16 Powerball drawing.
Johnson purchased his $1 million winning ticket at Inter City Oil Company at Highway 53 and County Road Y in Gordon (Douglas County). Johnson matched five out of five numbers, but not the Powerball.
The winning numbers from the Saturday, June 16 drawing were 09, 45, 57, 58, and 65 with a Powerball of 9. The Power Play number was 2.
The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday, July 11. The estimated jackpot is $90 million ($54.9 million cash).
Tickets must be purchased by 9 p.m. to be included in the drawing.
