Superintendent Candidate Christine M. Weymouth, Ph.D.

Dr. Weymouth is the Superintendent of Schools for the School District of Mauston in Mauston Wisconsin and has served in this capacity for five years.  Dr. Weymouth was appointed superintendent in Mauston after having been a Minnesota educator for over 20 years.  She served as the Superintendent for Howard Suamico School District in Green Bay Wisconsin, the Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services and Principal for West Middle School in the Farmington Area Public Schools, Farmington Minnesota from 2005 to 2012.  Before that she served as the Assistant Superintendent and Principal for Valley View Middle School with the Edina Public Schools, Edina Minnesota from 1991- 2002.

Early in Dr. Weymouth’s career she has been a special education teacher and director of special education.  In addition to her work in K-12 public education, she has taught at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in graduate courses in leadership, instruction and assessment.  

She is motivated by the importance of advocacy in learning for all students and is inspired by her spirited passion for mentoring and coaching others in education and the community in order to build strong schools and impassioned communities.  Dr. Weymouth earned her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin Madison and would honor the opportunity to live and lead in the Spooner Area. 


The Spooner Board of Education invites you to participate in a community forum for the final round of superintendent interviews. You will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions with the top three candidates. The interviews will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 5:30, 6:45, 8:00 p.m. in the Spooner High School Auditorium located at 801 Cty Hwy A.
