BARRON COUNTY - The Barron County Drug Unit made a significant bust on Thursday afternoon following a tip-off about a vehicle suspected of transporting drugs. At 12:38p on April 25th, 2024, law enforcement conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in question, leading to the arrest of Tomi Jo Quagon, aged 42 and a resident of Stone Lake, on a probation warrant, according to a press release from the Barron County Sheriff’s Office.

On Thursday April 25thth, 2024 at 12:38pm the Barron County Drug Unit received a tip of a vehicle with drugs be transported in it. A traffic stop was conducted on this vehicle and the driver, Tomi Jo Quagon, 42, of Stone Lake was arrested on a probation warrant.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and the driver attempted to dispose of meth into a liquid substance. Recovered in the vehicle were:
- 449 grams of liquid testing positive for meth
- 23 grams of meth
Street value of the meth is about $2,300 and we are working with the State Crime Lab to determine the street value of liquid substance.
Quagon is being held in the Barron County Jail on a probation hold, awaiting formal charges by the Barron County Districts Attorney’s Office later this week
