WASHBURN COUNTY -- A Spooner, WI, man with a lengthy history of OWI offenses has been sentenced in Washburn County Circuit Court for a December 2024 high-speed pursuit that spanned multiple counties and ended in his arrest.
Brien Drain, 52, who was on parole at the time of the offense, appeared before Judge Winton-Roe on April 15, 2026, and was sentenced on felony convictions for fleeing law enforcement at speeds nearing 100 miles per hour while under the influence of controlled substances.
