WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) – A December 2024 hit-and-run incident in Washburn County that escalated into a high-speed pursuit and ended with the arrest of 52-year-old Brien Drain, of Spooner, WI, has left Drain facing multiple charges including Attempting to Flee an Officer; Possession of Methamphetamine; Hit-and-Run; and Reckless Driving.
Drain was placed on a $5,000 cash bond by the Hon. Judge Angeline Winton and is scheduled to appear again in February 2025 on his charges.
