SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - The Court has found Peter Farnsworth Not Guilty By Reason of Mental Disease or Defect in the 2020 homicide of his father, Thomas Farnsworth; and attempted homicide for injuries sustained by his mother, Juli Farnsworth.
Peter was arrested in May 2020, after he called 911 to report a domestic incident with one deceased. Charges were later filed, and competency evaluations were conducted with Peter. A trial was scheduled in December 2024 on Peter’s case, but he appeared for a recent court hearing, and the Court issued a ruling.
