WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A criminal complaint has been filed in Washburn County charging a Spooner, WI, man with conducting a cyber attack against the Hudson School District web portal system for faculty and students.
Anthony Reder, age 24, allegedly hacked into the school district’s system in 2021, gaining access to faculty and student emails and other information.
Reder admitted to targeting other schools including the Spooner Area School District.
The cyber attack was reported to the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), and the subsequent investigation revealed Reder as the suspect.
