BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) – A Burnett County woman has been sentenced for convictions on charges from a 2023 crash that killed a passenger in her vehicle.
Aliza Mitchell, age 21, of Siren, WI, who was found to be under the influence of THC at the time of the crash and did not have a valid driver’s license, was convicted of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle.
The single-vehicle rollover occurred in the early morning hours of October 4, 2023, on State Road 35 near Glendening Road. Mitchell was sentenced on July 28, 2025.
