(UPDATE) Name Released From Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash In Burnett County

BURNETT COUNTY -- Authorities this morning responded to a crash that occurred on CTH H at CTH H north of CTH J in Burnett County. Assisting agencies included Burnett County Sheriff’s Office and Shell Lake Area Fire Department. The crash involved 1 fatality, according to a news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol.

News Release

On June 2, 2020 at approximately 9:12 AM, the Wisconsin State Patrol and Burnett County Sheriffs Office responded to a one vehicle crash on CTH H north of CTH J in Burnett County.

The initial investigation indicated that the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and collided into a driveway embankment. The 33-year-old male driver from Webster received fatal injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
