On the evening of December 29, 2024, Officers of the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Police Department were dispatched for a report of a shooting incident that occurred in the area of Poppletown Road on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation.
A victim with gunshot wounds was located and transported for medical attention. The status of the victim is unknown at this time.
This is believed to be an isolated incident and two arrests have been made at this time.
