Shell Lake Woman Arrested For OWI, 7th Offense

JACKSON COUNTY -- The Wisconsin State Patrol has arrested a Shell Lake resident for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (7th offense) after a Trooper stopped to assist a disabled vehicle in Jackson County, according to a news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Tracie Lee Masuca, 49 years of age, from Shell Lake WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 7th offense.

On Thursday, May 7 at approximately 8:07PM, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped to assist a disabled vehicle on Interstate 94 in Jackson County.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Tracie Lee Masuca, age 49, from Shell Lake.

A subsequent investigation including standardized field sobriety tests were conducted. Masuca was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence 7th offense.

A legal blood draw was completed and Masuca was turned over to the Jackson County Jail.

"Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty."
