WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A 2022 single-vehicle crash in Shell Lake, WI that left the driver and 2 others injured has resulted in a felony conviction for 28-year-old Jeffery Splain, of Shell Lake, the driver of the vehicle.
Splain’s vehicle was traveling over 100 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone at the time of the crash. The crash caused his vehicle to go airborne.
At a recent hearing in Washburn County Circuit Court, the Hon. Judge Angeline Winton sentenced Splain on his conviction from the case.
