Severe Snowstorm Could Bring Up To 20 Inches Of Snow To Our Area

NW WISCONSIN — Some counties in our coverage could see up to 20” of snow this week, according to the latest situation report from the National Weather Service (NWS).

NWS's latest expected snow totals show that Barron, Polk, and Rusk counties could see 14-20” of total accumulation over the duration of this week’s storm with the first round of snow expected to begin this afternoon through Wednesday morning, but the bulk of the snow coming in round two Wednesday night through Thursday midday.

Burnett, Sawyer, and Washburn counties could see nearly as much with the latest NWS model showing a range between 11-17” inches.
