WASHBURN COUNTY — A second suspect has now been formally charged in connection with a February 2026 violent stabbing incident outside Big Dick’s Buckhorn Bar in Spooner, Wisconsin, that left a man with serious injuries.
Christian Beach-Mattison, 23, of Spooner, WI, was arrested and subsequently charged with felony aggravated battery following the incident, which stemmed from an early-morning fight that escalated into a stabbing, leaving the victim with multiple wounds, including a severed artery in his torso that required emergency medical treatment.
Kenneth Thompson, 31, of Minong, WI, was also arrested for his alleged involvement in the incident and is now facing felony charges as well for being a party to a crime.
