SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) – The Court has sentenced the second person who received charges from a March 2024 Sawyer County drug investigation.
Holly Trepanier, age 47, and Wayne Cunningham, age 33, were both charged following the investigation that spanned several weeks, with law enforcement utilizing multiple resources, including surveillance of Cunningham’s residence and controlled purchases of drugs from Cunningham. The surveillance revealed that Cunningham had numerous firearms.
A search warrant was executed at Cunningham’s residence in the culmination of the investigation, leading to the seizure of fentanyl, marijuana, pills, drug paraphernalia, and ammunition.
Cunningham was sentenced in September 2024 on convictions from his charges.
Trepanier appeared most recently on May 15, 2025, for a hearing regarding her charges.
