RUSK COUNTY - The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning to residents following an increase in vehicle thefts in the area. Authorities believe the thefts may be connected to individuals from outside the county.

In response to the uptick in stolen vehicles, the Sheriff’s Office is urging the community to take extra precautions. Residents are advised to keep their vehicles locked at all times and remove valuables such as keys and identification when parking their vehicles.

The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the incidents in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies. They are asking for the public’s help in reporting any suspicious activity or providing information that may assist the investigation.
