Rice Lake Police Seek Community Help In Search For Missing Woman Melissa Davis

RICE LAKE, WI -- On Wednesday, the Rice Lake Police Department issued the following update on the search for missing Melissa Davis and request for community assistance.

On Friday, May 31, 2024, the Rice Lake Police Department, with the assistance of the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation, and Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory conducted a thorough search of the residence last know to be occupied by Melissa Davis. A land and water search was also conducted with the assistance from NorthStar Search and Rescue. Neither search resulted in any leads to assist law enforcement in locating Ms. Davis.

At this time, the Rice Lake Police Department is asking residents of the area mapped below to check any out buildings on their property such as sheds, camper trailers, inoperable motor vehicles, etc., that they may have on their property for anything out of the ordinary.
