POLK COUNTY (DrydenWire) – In the early morning hours of November 2, 2024, a routine traffic stop for speeding in Polk County escalated into a confrontation, leading to the arrest of Christopher and Dawn Dahlstrom, a couple from Frederic, Wisconsin. A chaotic series of events followed the stop including alleged seat-switching, conflicting claims from Dawn and Christopher, and an alleged physical altercation between Christopher and law enforcement.
Christopher and Dawn are both now facing criminal charges, including a charge of seventh felony Operating While Intoxicated offense against Christopher.
