POLK COUNTY — A repeat offender is facing new charges for possession of child pornography in Polk County Circuit Court.
Kyle McCarty, age 39, of Amery, WI, a convicted sex offender with multiple convictions, including Child Sexploitation (2007), Possession of Child Pornography (2017), and Possession of Child Pornography - Repeat Offender (2021), was arrested in April 2026 following an investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office into CyberTips.
A criminal complaint filed in Polk County Circuit Court alleges that the investigation discovered numerous sexualized images and videos of minor boys in McCarty’s possession and dating from 2026 back to 2006, prior to McCarty’s conviction for Child Sexploitation. McCarty is on a $5,000 cash bond.
