SPOONER, WI - The Washburn County Republican Party is gearing up for a fun-filled Reagan Picnic event this Saturday, June 22nd at the Warbirds North Airport. The festivities will kick off at 2 pm with classic cars, trucks, bikes, and aircraft.
At 3 pm, a lineup of prominent guest speakers will take the stage, including Congressman Tom Tiffany, State Senator Romaine Quinn, and State Representatives Dave Armstrong and Chanz Green.
But the highlight of the event may be the chicken dinner served at 4 pm. Tickets for the full afternoon of activities and dinner are $40, with a discount offered for those who bring their own classic vehicle to display.
Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by June 20th by emailing washburngop@gmail.com. The Warbirds North Airport is located at W7953 County Highway E in Spooner.
The Reagan Picnic celebrates the legacy of former President Ronald Reagan and provides an opportunity for local Republicans to network, hear from elected officials, and enjoy an afternoon of classic Americana.
