MINONG, WI —NorthLakes Community Clinic will host a free community appreciation event on Tuesday, July 30, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at its Minong location, 600 Shell Creek Rd.
The event is open to all and will include live music, kid-friendly activities, food, drinks, and prize giveaways. Guests will also have an opportunity to meet and connect with local staff and providers.
NorthLakes has been part of the Minong community for many years and is holding the event to thank residents for their continued support. The celebration is part of the organization’s recognition of National Health Center Week, which occurs each August and honors the work of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) across the country.
As one of the three original clinic sites that formed NorthLakes—along with Lakewood and Iron River—the Minong clinic plays an important role in advancing access to care and supporting the health and well-being of rural communities. These local appreciation events aim to strengthen social bonds, promote cultural exchange, and foster community connection.
Questions may be directed to April Featherly, Minong Clinic Manager, at (715) 466-2201.
