New Child Sexual Assault Charges Filed Against Stone Lake Man

SAWYER COUNTY -- The Court has ordered a $100,000 cash bail bond for a man charged with child sexual assault in 3 separate court cases.

Raymond Wolf, of Stone Lake, WI is now facing additional criminal charges of child sexual assault in two new criminal complaints filed in Sawyer County Circuit Court.

DrydenWire.com reported on January 18, 2019, that Wolf had been placed on a $50,000 bond for charges of Class B Felony 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault - Sexual Contact With Child Under Age 13, and Misdemeanor Resisting an Officer. This charge of Child Sexual Assault pertains to an offense allegedly occurring in January 2019.

Wolf allegedly attempted to commit suicide during the process of being placed under arrest in January. The criminal complaint filed against Wolf for the January 2019 offense alleges that Wolf admitted to inappropriate touching of the child victim in that case.

According to online circuit court records, two new criminal complaints have now been filed against Wolf.

One criminal complaint filed against Wolf on May 31, 2019 charges Wolf with Class B Felony Repeated Sexual Assault of Same Child (At Least 3 Violations of 1st Degree Sexual Assault) from incident(s) occuring in June 2017.

This criminal complaint filed on May 31, 2019 alleges that Wolf had sexual contact numerous times with the child victim in that case.

Another new criminal complaint filed against Wolf on June 6, 2019 charges him with Class B Felony 1st Degree Sexual Assault of Child from an incident occurring on May 1, 1992.  Details of that case are not known to DrydenWire.com at this time.

Online circuit court records indicate that Wolf was placed on a $100,000 cash bail bond on June 7, 2019 regarding the newest criminal complaints filed against him. Conditions of Wolf’s bail bond prohibit him from having any contact with juveniles under the age of 18.

Wolf appeared for a preliminary examination hearing on June 13, 2019 on both of his new cases, and the Court found probable cause to bind both of the cases over for trial. Wolf is scheduled to appear again in July 2019.

Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
