WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) – On the evening of February 17, 2025, a routine traffic stop in Spooner, Wisconsin, led to a significant drug bust. A Spooner Police officer pulled over a speeding vehicle, only to discover a large quantity of THC edibles, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia inside.
The driver, Steven Romero Chambers, and passenger, Diamond Renae Johnson, both from Minneapolis, were taken into custody.
A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered even more contraband, including a loaded handgun.
Both individuals now face felony drug charges, with court proceedings underway.
