McCain Foods to Add 50 New Jobs at its Rice Lake Processing Plant

(News Release) -- McCain Foods (USA) announced today a major growth in its Rice Lake, Wisconsin plant that will increase production capacity and create up to 50 new jobs in early 2017.

The Rice Lake plant specializes in frozen onion ring production, in which the product is distributed and sold throughout the United States within foodservice and retail. The Rice Lake plant is moving to a new production schedule that will increase product capacity by twenty percent to meet the growing consumer demand for appetizer products.

“McCain Foods has been a part of the Rice Lake community for 19 years,” said Brian Goettl, plant manager at McCain Foods Rice Lake “The community has provided us with the skilled workforce that has helped the Rice Lake plant continue to be the premier supplier of onion rings for McCain Foods throughout North America.”
