WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - The Court has sentenced Chad Rollins, age 50, of Chippewa Falls, WI on criminal convictions from a June 2023 high-risk incident in Washburn County. During the incident, Rollins fled from law enforcement in a high-speed pursuit, however, ultimately was taken into custody. The Wisconsin State Patrol, Wisconsin DNR Wardens, Spooner Police Department, Shell Lake Police Department, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Burnett County Sheriff’s Office, Webster Police Department, Grantsburg Police Department, Siren Police Department, and Minong Fire / EMS assisted with the situation.
Rollins received over a dozen criminal charges including Fleeing an Officer and Recklessly Endangering Safety.
