BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A man who was charged criminally in connection with the June 2022 fatal overdose of an inmate in the Burnett County Jail has been sentenced to a conviction of homicide. Shane Bearheart was charged along with Danielle Rodriguez following a lengthy investigation conducted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Rodriguez was sentenced in March 2024 on a conviction of Reckless Homicide.
