SPOONER, WI — Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann will be the featured guest on a special edition of DrydenWire Live! with DrydenWire.com founder Ben Dryden on Monday, May 5, 2025. The live-streamed conversation will begin at approximately 8:30a on DrydenWire’s Facebook page.
The unscripted, in-depth discussion is expected to last around 45 minutes and will cover a range of topics. For those who miss the live broadcast, a recording will be available later in the day on both DrydenWire’s YouTube channel and website.
Schoemann has served as Washington County Executive since April 2020 and was re-elected to a second term in 2024. He also currently serves as President of the Wisconsin County Executives & Administrators Association. Prior to becoming County Executive, he held roles as County Administrator and Administrative Coordinator for more than six years.
A veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Schoemann served in the Army National Guard, earning an Army Commendation Medal before receiving an honorable discharge in 2008. He remains active in his community through his service on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County Board of Directors, as a member of VFW Post 10452, and at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford. He lives in the Town of Trenton with his wife, Jodi, their two sons, Cael and Drake, and their dog, Liberty.
