About Jennifer Jako: Jen has her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and is a Registered Dietitian. She has worked in a variety of settings including healthcare, long term care, and public health. Jen has been with the ADRC of Barron & Rusk Counties for the past 10 years.The ADRC is a government department, located locally within all counties across the State of Wisconsin. The mission of ADRC’s is to provide older adults, people with disabilities, and those supporting them with information about resources needed to maintain independence and quality of life. We consider ourselves a central source of reliable and unbiased information about a broad range of resources, supports and services. With 30-40% of our surrounding county's population being 60 years old and older, we are helping more and more people with a wide range of questions and needs. ADRCs play a vital role in helping our friends, neighbors, and loved ones remain healthy and connected in our communities.
