Police: 52-Year-Old Male Found Deceased At Spooner Mobile Home Park

SPOONER, WI -- DrydenWire.com reported on Tuesday that authorities were investigating an incident at Park West Mobile Home Park in Spooner, WI. The investigation is believed to be regarding a possible homicide, according to sources, that occurred Tuesday morning.  

Multiple agencies were on scene throughout the day and evening.  Today, the scene has been taped off with a reduced law enforcement presence.

DrydenWire.com learned last night that a suspect believed to be involved in the incident was apprehended.

Today, the Washburn County 911 call log states that at 5:53p last night, a perimeter was set up near a home where the wanted person was believed to be near. In a matter of a few minutes, at 6:03p, the call log states that authorites had the suspect in custody. It is not known to what extent the suspect was involved in the incident.

The Spooner Police Department issued the following press release this afternoon.

On 07-16-2019, at about 11:12 am, the Spooner Police Department and North Ambulance were dispatched to a medical call, at a residence in the City of Spooner. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a 52 year old male was deceased. Evidence at the scene was suspicious and the Spooner Police Department conducted an investigation, assisted by Washburn County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation, Wisconsin State Patrol, Washburn County Coroner Office and Wisconsin Crime Lab. This case remains under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
