Myron Crone, of Hayward, WI was sentenced in Washburn County Circuit Court on June 4, 2018 regarding his charges which stemmed from a traffic stop in April 2017.
DrydenWire.com reported in February 2018 that a Jury Trial had been scheduled for April 2018 on Crone’s charges, however Crone appeared at the end of March 2018 and entered a guilty plea to his charge of Class I Felony Possession of Narcotic Drugs. The rest of Crone’s charges, including Class E Felony Possess with Intent to Deliver Narcotics, Class H Felony Possess with Intent to Deliver Prescriptions, and Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia were dismissed but read in by the Court.
The Court ordered a withheld sentence for Crone on his conviction for Class I Felony Possession of Narcotic Drugs, with 2 years of probation, and credit for 35 days served in county jail.
The incident which led to Crone’s charges started with a traffic stop on Highway 53 near County Highway D. The vehicle was stopped by a Wisconsin State Trooper because the window tint was too dark.
During the course of the stop, numerous prescription pills including Oxycodone were located. A passenger in the vehicle, Uzuri Allen, was also charged criminally in Washburn County Circuit Court.
Allen is charged with Class E Felony Possess with Intent to Deliver Narcotic, Class H Felony Possess with Intent Schedule IV Drugs, and Class H Possess with Intent to Deliver Prescriptions.
A warrant for Allen’s arrest was issued on his Washburn County criminal charges on April 26, 2017 and remains active at the time of this post. Online circuit court records show that Allen also has active arrest warrants in Milwaukee County, WI.

Jury Trial Set For Man Charged in Washburn County Prescription Drug Case

A jury trial is scheduled for April for a man charged in Washburn County Circuit Court with illegal possession of prescription medication with intent to deliver.
Charges were filed against 2 men in April 2017, following a traffic stop by a Wisconsin State Trooper. According to a criminal complaint filed in Washburn County Circuit Court, the Trooper stopped a vehicle on Highway 53 near County Highway D because the vehicle had illegal tint on the windows.
The 2 men in the vehicle were identified as Myron Crone, of Hayward, WI, and Uzuri Allen, of Milwaukee, WI. When Allen reached for his ID, the trooper saw a bag stuffed into Allen’s waistband that was full of pills. The trooper had Allen exit the vehicle and asked what the pills were for; Allen allegedly stated that they were his “heart pills”, and “Vicodin”. When the trooper told Allen that the pills needed to be in prescription bottles, the criminal complaint goes on to state that Allen said that he has “family members that’ll take my stuff”. Allen was placed under arrest.
The trooper had Crone exit the vehicle, and Crone allegedly stated that any luggage in the car belonged to Allen. During the course of searching Crone, a bag of pills was found in a pocket of his pants. Allen allegedly told the trooper that he had no idea where the pills had come from, and that the pants belonged to his brother.
The vehicle was searched and according to the criminal complaint, including the pills found on Allen and Crone, over 300 prescription pills were located, including Oxycodone, Codeine, Tramadol, and Viagra. A glass smoking device was also found in the vehicle.
Crone was placed under arrest and transported to the Washburn County Jail.
Crone is charged with Class E Felony Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics (Oxycodone), Class H Felony Possess With Intent to Deliver Prescription Drugs (Hydroxyzine and Fluoxetine), and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Probable cause to bind Crone’s charges over for trial was found in October 2017, and at a hearing in December 2017 Crone requested a Jury Trial on his charges. He is set to appear for a Final Pretrial hearing this week in Washburn County Circuit Court, and his Jury Trial is set for April 10, 2018.
According to online circuit court records, Crone also has pending criminal charges for Misdemeanor Receiving or Concealing Stolen Property and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping in 2 separate cases filed against him in Sawyer County Circuit Court.
Uzuri Allen was transported from the scene of the traffic stop to the Shell Lake Hospital for medical care, as he stated that he was having a diabetic issue. The criminal complaint goes on to state that the hospital informed the trooper that Allen may have suffered a heart attack and they were going to keep him overnight for observation.
When the trooper arrived the next morning to take custody of Allen upon discharge from the hospital, Allen reported that he was having chest pains. Medical personnel informed the trooper that they would need to keep Allen for another night.
Later that day, the trooper was notified that Allen had sprinted from the hospital with heart monitor and chest leads still attached to himself. Allen then got into a gray vehicle that was outside the hospital, and the vehicle quickly left the area.
Charges of Class E Felony Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics, Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule IV Drugs, and Possession With Intent to Deliver Prescriptions were filed against Allen.
A warrant for Allen’s arrest was issued on April 27, 2017, regarding his criminal charges in Washburn County.
Online circuit court records show that on October 23, 2017, another warrant for Allen’s arrest was issued in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on charges of Class I Felony Vehicle Operator Flee/Elude Officer. Details of that case are not known to DrydenWire.com.
