BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A Grantsburg, WI, man has been sentenced on convictions from a September 2023 incident in Burnett County. Jeremy Saavedra was arrested and later charged following the incident during which he was accused of attempting to rob someone and threatening to kill them, crashing his vehicle, resisting multiple law enforcement officers, and damaging a squad car. At a recent court hearing, the Hon. Judge Melissia Mogen accepted a settlement arrangement proposed by Burnett District Attorney Rennicke the defense counsel for Saavedra, and sentenced Saavedra.
