POLK COUNTY -- The first of 3 women has been sentenced on her criminal charges stemming from a break-in that occurred on New Years Eve in Polk County.
DrydeWire.com reported that Vanessa Mosay, Michelle Mosay, and Katrina Leoso were all charged following the break-in.
Online circuit court records show that at a recent hearing in Polk County Circuit Court, Vanessa Mosay was sentenced on her criminal charges stemming from the break-in.
The three women were each charged with Class F Felony Burglary-Building or Dwelling, Class I Felony Substantial Battery-Intend Bodily Harm, and Misdemeanor Criminal Damage to Property. All charges were filed with the Party to a Crime Enhancer.
Vanessa received an additional charge of Class I Felony Possession of THC (2nd+ Offense) due to the fact that officers located marijuana in her pants pocket while placing her under arrest.
According to online circuit court records, the Court accepted a 3-year Deferred Plea Acceptance agreement on Vanessa’s charge of Class I Felony Substantial Battery-Intend Bodily Harm. Vanessa plead guilty to her charge of Misdemeanor Criminal Damage to Property. The remaining charges against Vanessa were dismissed but read in.
Although details of Vanessa’s agreement were not listed in online circuit court records, she was ordered to report to Probation and Parole, and ordered to follow rules of supervision.
A jury trial is scheduled in August regarding Michelle Mosay's criminal charges.
Katrina Leoso is scheduled to have a jury trial in October.
