SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) – A routine traffic stop in Sawyer County, Wisconsin, led to a significant drug bust on February 18, 2025.
A Sheriff's Sergeant pulled over a vehicle with expired Minnesota registration near Stone Lake, WI, and soon discovered drug paraphernalia inside. The driver, identified as Ryan Swanson, age 38, of Rogers, MN, is now facing felony charges including possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and methamphetamine, which were found hidden in various containers within his vehicle.
