POLK COUNTY (DrydenWire) – Felony charges are proceeding in Polk County Circuit Court against two men following a drug investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted with the investigation and search warrant in this case, including the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office and the St. Croix Valley Drug Task Force which includes law enforcement from the St. Croix Sheriff’s Office, the Hudson Police Department, the New Richmond Police Department, and the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
Austin McKenzie, age 41, and Steven Sturm, age 30, both of Luck, WI, are each facing felony drug charges.
Criminal complaints filed in Polk County Circuit Court allege that McKenzie was maintaining a drug trafficking place and selling methamphetamine from his residence.
