SPOONER, WI — The 2-3 week demolition project of the old gym at the Spooner Middle School begins today, according to a news release from the Spooner Area School District.

Demolition of the Spooner Middle School old gym is starting Thursday, July 1, 2021. This demolition project will run for the next 2-3 weeks.
We want to make sure all of our neighbors within proximity of the Middle School are aware of the project details:
- Additional traffic and construction noise is expected.
- Street closures are not anticipated.
- Traffic limitations may occur with large machinery trucks moving about the area.
- Efforts will be taken to minimize the amount of dust and dirt affecting surrounding houses and property.
