POLK COUNTY -- Eduardo Jaquez was facing felony charges of Class B Felony 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault - Sexual Contact With A Child Under Age 13 and Class C Felony Sexual Assault of a Child Under 16 Years of Age filed against him in two separate Polk County criminal cases.
DrydenWire.com reported previously that Jaquez was charged after two separate reports were received by law enforcement in which Jaquez was accused of having sexual contact with females; one under the age of 16 and one under the age of 13. The sexual assaults reportedly occurred in 2012 and 2018.
Online circuit court records show that Jaquez appeared for a hearing on March 13, 2019 regarding his criminal charges. The Court accepted a Guilty plea from Jaquez on an amended charge of Class H Felony False Imprisonment. This was reduced from Class C Felony Sexual Assault of a Child Under 16 Years of Age. The charge of Class B Felony 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault - Sexual Contact With A Child Under Age 13 was dismissed but read in.
The Court ordered a 6 year sentence for Jaquez; 3 years initial confinement in state prison followed by 3 years extended supervision.
Jaquez was also ordered to register as a sex offender for 15 years.

Second Child Sexual Assault Complaint Filed Against Luck Man

POLK COUNTY -- A new criminal complaint has been filed in Polk County Circuit Court charging Eduardo Alcala-Jaquez, 33 of Luck, Wisconsin, with child sexual assault.
DrydenWire.com reported in June of 2018 that Eduardo was facing charges of Class C Felony Sexual Assault of a Child Under 16 Years of Age after the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report that Jaquez had sexually assaulted a juvenile female.
On January 4, 2019, new charges of Class B Felony 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault - Sexual Contact With A Child Under Age 13 were filed against Eduardo.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Department received a report in October of 2018 alleging that in July of 2012 Eduardo had sexually assaulted a female child under the age of 13.
According to the criminal complaint, Eduardo sexually assaulted the child under her clothing and while in a room where other minor children were playing and watching television.
He also allegedly assaulted her in another room of the same residence, kissing her and attempting to remove her clothing. The child told relatives about the alleged assault a year or two after it happened, after which it was reported to law enforcement. No charges were filed at that time.
In a statement to investigators, the child’s family stated that after learning about the other charges filed against Eduardo in 2018, they decided to request that this case be reviewed again for possible prosecution.
The criminal complaint concludes by stating that as of December 17, 2018, Eduardo had been taken into custody by Homeland Security/ICE. According to the Polk County Jail Inmate Roster, Eduardo remains in custody as of January 25, 2019.
Online circuit court records show that Eduardo made a court appearance, while in custody, on January 24, 2019 regarding both of his criminal cases, and that they have now been scheduled for Jury Trial in March 2019.

32-Year-Old Man Charged With Sexual Assault of a Child Under 16

POLK COUNTY -- A 32-year-old Luck, WI man has been charged in Polk County Circuit Court with sexually assaulting a female under the age of 16.
According to the criminal complaint, Eduardo Jaquez, of Luck, WI, is charged with Class C Felony Sexual Assault of a Child Under 16 Years of Age after the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report that Jaquez had sexually assaulted a juvenile female.
The juvenile female and her mother met with St. Croix Tribal Police Department's investigating officers on June 13, 2018 and reported that the alleged assault happened on that same date.
The juvenile female told officers that while at a residence, she was in the kitchen, playing with a guinea pig. She was holding the guinea pig on her chest when Jaquez came over and acted like he was going to pet the guinea pig, but instead allegedly reached under her clothing and touched her breast twice. The juvenile female stated that at that time she felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave, however, Jaquez told the juvenile female that if she went into a bedroom, he would give her $20. She told officers that she went into the room where Jaquez proceeded to kiss her on the top of her breast. The juvenile female stated that she then left the residence, went home, and told her mother what had happened.
The criminal complaint goes on to state that when the officers arrived at Jaquez’s residence and interviewed him about the report, Jaquez denied the accusations. Jaquez was placed under arrest. According to the criminal complaint, Jaquez did not seem concerned about why the officers were there, or about being arrested.
Online circuit court records show that a criminal complaint was filed against Jaquez on June 14, 2018 and he was placed on a $2,000 cash bail bond that same day with a condition that he not have any contact with the juvenile female.
If convicted as charged, Jaquez faces a maximum penalty of imprisonment for not more than 40 years, a maximum fine of $100,000, or both.
