Court Accepts Deferred Agreement For Siren Man Charged With Sexual Assault

BURNETT COUNTY  -- The Court has accepted a Deferred Judgment Agreement for a Siren, WI man facing sexual assault of child charges.

DrydenWire.com reported on November 2, 2018, that Nathan Meisner, of Siren, WI was facing felony charges following an investigation into reports that he sexually assaulted a juvenile female.

The criminal complaint states that the juvenile female was interviewed on September 25, 2018, by law enforcement and a social worker. During the interview, the juvenile female stated that the assaults had occurred both at an apartment located in Siren, WI and a residence located in Webster, WI.

At a hearing on July 23, 2019, the Court accepted a proposed plea negotiation on Meisner’s charges of Class C Felony Sexual Assault of a Child Under 16 Years of Age and Class C Felony Repeated Sexual Assault of a Child from Defense counsel for Meisner and Burnett County District Attorney Schieffer. 

Under the 24-month agreement, Meisnern will undergo a psychosexual evaluation and follow the recommended treatment; this is to be completed within 120 days. Meisner is prohibited from having any contact with the victim in the case and the Court also ordered that he is not to have any unsupervised contact with females under the age of 18.
