WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A fatal overdose that occurred in May 2023 in Spooner, WI, and was linked to an illegal sale of fentanyl to the deceased, has resulted in felony convictions for the first of two men, David Belille, Jr. of Hayward, WI, and Quill Running Buffalo Hawk of Hayward, WI, who were both arrested and charged in connection to the fatal overdose. Quill Hawk has been sentenced on his charges in Washburn County Circuit Court and was ordered to serve a lengthy prison sentence. Belille is in custody, awaiting his sentencing.
