BURNETT COUNTY — A Webster, WI, man is facing felony charges after authorities say he stole not one, but two vehicles in separate incidents spanning multiple states, prompting a multi-agency search.
According to criminal complaints filed in Burnett County Circuit Court, 40-year-old Joshua Jerome Bremer is accused of taking a Dodge pickup truck equipped with a plow in early March before later allegedly stealing a Subaru while its owner was hospitalized.
Both vehicles were eventually entered into a national database as stolen, with law enforcement locating the truck in Minnesota and the Subaru in South Dakota.
Bremer now faces two felony counts tied to the incidents.
