POLK COUNTY -- Charges have been filed following a residential break-in on New Years’ Eve. Three Luck women are facing felony charges in Polk County Circuit Court after being arrested and charged following an incident that occurred on December 31, 2018.
According to probable cause reports from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, on December 31, 2018, a 911 caller reported that she had just been ‘jumped’ by three women, identified as Katrina Leoso, Michelle Mosay, and Vanessa Mosay; all of Luck, WI.
When Officers responded to the scene of the reported incident, they saw that the front door of the residence had been kicked in, resulting in damage to the door frame. Numerous windows were also broken on the east side of the residence and the living room was a mess with items scattered all over.
The 911 caller was transported for medical assistance, and when an officer interviewed her at the Amery Hospital she said that she was in the residence when she heard noises outside. Shortly after that she heard windows being broken and then the door was kicked in. According to her statement, Katrina, Michelle, and Vanessa then came into the bedroom of the residence and started hitting her.
The 911 caller went on to say that she was pulled by her hair down the hallway and into the living room where Katrina, Michelle, and Vanessa kicked and hit her. She told the investigating Officer that she curled into a ball to try and protect herself. The 911 caller also said that she believes that she lost consciousness during that time and doesn’t remember much more. The probable cause report goes on to say that Officers saw numerous bruises on her arms and face.
Law enforcement arrested Katrina Leoso on December 31, 2018. Vanessa and Michelle Mosay were taken into custody on January 2, 2019.

Katrina, Vanessa and Michelle are all charged with Class F Felony Burglary-Building or Dwelling, Class I Felony Substantial Battery-Intend Bodily Harm, and Misdemeanor Criminal Damage to Property. All charges were filed with the Party to a Crime Enhancer. Vanessa faces an additional charge of Class I Felony Possession of THC (2nd+ Offense) due to the fact that officers located marijuana in her pants pocket while placing her under arrest.
Vanessa and Michelle both appeared for bail bond hearings on January 3, 2019. The Court placed each of them on $500 cash bail bonds which have since been posted. Conditions of their bail bonds prohibit them from possessing or consuming alcohol or controlled substances without a prescription. They are both scheduled to appear again later this month for preliminary examination hearings.
According to online circuit court records at the time of this post, Katrina is scheduled to make an Initial Appearance later this month regarding her charges. No information was listed regarding a bail bond for Katrina.
